When you invite Dr. HVAC into your home, you can depend on our friendly service technicians to provide you with top-notch work.
Our service technician Paolo is a lifelong learner who stays on top of current industry knowledge, and strives to educate homeowners just like you.
Paolo Knows The Learning Never Stops
With over 13 years of industry experience, Paolo certainly knows the ins and outs of the trade. He has gasfitter training and is working on getting refrigeration certification, too.
The industry is always changing, and Paolo stays up-to-date on the latest information. “We have ongoing yearly training for new products, and updates for our suppliers,” he says.
Paolo is always looking for ways to improve his service and actively builds relationships with his customers. By providing tips and tricks whenever he’s on a service call, he empowers people to help keep the systems he installs running longer.
But he also wants to reassure them that they’re in good hands. “If there are any advanced issues that crop up, they will be taken care of by our team.”
Paolo Works Every Day to Make Customers Smile
Paolo wants every homeowner he meets to feel happy with their experience. “Making sure things are safe and working as intended is my biggest priority,” he says. One service visit in particular stands out.
“On one occasion things were not 100% working after the initial work was completed,” Paolo says. “At Dr HVAC we honour our work, and we were able to fix the issues at no extra cost to the customer.” The end result of having a happy customer is what he works towards every day.
Putting Customers First is About Building Relationships
At Dr HVAC, you’re not just a number. Paolo knows the importance of taking the time necessary for each job. “We are very personable, and we don’t rush our time with customers. They can call and know that we’ll take the time to service their equipment correctly.”
Like everyone at Dr HVAC, he puts the focus on building a relationship with each homeowner, rather than getting through as many jobs as possible.
“The best way to describe things to our customers is by being relatable and using clear, easy-to-understand language,” Paolo says. He avoids industry jargon because he knows that it won’t help people learn about the systems in their home.
First impressions matter, too. “Well-branded, clean uniforms and work trucks help to reinforce our professionalism and give peace of mind to customers.”
What About Outside of Work?
When he’s not working, Paolo keeps busy in the kitchen whipping up some delicious Italian food. He loves to travel the world, too: recently he’s visited Orlando, Texas, and Portugal. He stays active by playing baseball or soccer, and loves to watch his favourite teams.
